Terms of Service

Last updated · May 5, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Rollout (the “Service”), a desktop and web application for rendering and publishing music videos to YouTube. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Drexler Andrei-Florin, an individual based in Timișoara, Romania (“we”, “us”, or “Rollout”). You can reach us at support@getrollout.app.

2. Eligibility & account

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Rollout. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account.

We use Clerk for authentication. By signing in you also accept Clerk's terms applicable to authentication providers.

3. The Service

Rollout watches a folder on your computer, renders audio files into MP4 videos using FFmpeg locally on your device, and publishes them to YouTube on your behalf using the YouTube Data API. You authorize Rollout to access your YouTube channel only for the purposes you configure in the app (uploading, scheduling, retrieving channel information).

Rollout is software-as-a-service. We may add, change, or remove features over time. Material changes that reduce paid functionality will be communicated in advance.

4. Free trial & auto-conversion

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial of the paid plan. At the end of the trial, your account automatically converts to a paid subscription using the payment method you provided at signup, unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Because Rollout is digital content delivered immediately, by starting the trial and using paid features you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)) once you begin using the Service. You can still cancel at any time to stop future billing — see Section 6.

5. Subscriptions, billing, and price changes

Paid plans renew automatically each month or year, depending on the billing cycle you choose, until cancelled. All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices shown on the Pricing pageare the total amount charged and are inclusive of any applicable taxes at the operator's location. We do not currently collect or remit VAT, sales tax, or similar transaction taxes on your behalf; you are responsible for any tax obligations that may apply in your own jurisdiction.

We may change prices for new billing cycles. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change takes effect on your account. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the new price applies.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or the Stripe billing portal. After cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current paid period and we do not bill you again. We do not refund partial periods. See the full Cancellation Policy for details.

7. Refunds

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for paid periods that have already started. See the full Refund Policy.

8. Your content & rights

You retain all rights to the audio, images, and other content you process or upload through Rollout (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely to operate the Service for you (rendering, encoding, and uploading to the destinations you configure).

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to Your Content, and that publishing it to YouTube does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law. You are solely responsible for claims arising from Your Content, including copyright claims.

9. YouTube & Google API Services

Rollout's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. By connecting your YouTube account, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke Rollout's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Rollout to upload content you don't have the rights to distribute, including copyrighted music or imagery you don't own or license.
  • Use Rollout to spam, harass, or distribute illegal, hateful, or harmful content.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to access non-public parts of the Service.
  • Resell, sublicense, or share your account with people who haven't paid for it.
  • Use Rollout in a way that violates YouTube's policies or applicable law.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, generally with notice unless the violation is severe.

11. Service availability

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Background jobs, YouTube uploads, and third-party services may fail or be delayed for reasons outside our control (YouTube quota, network issues, your machine being offline). We are not liable for missed publish times caused by these factors.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be error-free, or always be available.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable mandatory consumer protection law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or YouTube channel actions taken by Google.

14. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the settings page. We can terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.

16. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought before the courts of Timișoara, Romania, except where applicable consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence.

If you are an EU consumer, you can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
