Refund Policy

Last updated · May 5, 2026

Short version: all sales are final. We don't offer refunds for paid periods that have already started. Instead, we give you a full 14-day free trial up front so you can decide whether Rollout works for you before paying anything.

1. Try before you pay

Every new account gets a 14-day free trialwith full access to paid features. You won't be charged until the trial ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing.

We strongly recommend running at least one real publish during the trial to confirm Rollout fits your workflow.

2. No refunds after billing starts

Once your trial converts to a paid subscription, or once a renewal is processed, the payment is non-refundable. This applies to:

  • Monthly subscriptions.
  • Annual subscriptions (the full year is non-refundable once paid).
  • Mid-period upgrades and add-ons.
  • Periods where you didn't actively use the Service.

When you cancel, we don't bill you again — but the period you already paid for runs until the end of the cycle. See the Cancellation Policy for the exact mechanics.

3. EU 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are an EU consumer, the Consumer Rights Directive gives you the right to withdraw from a contract for digital services within 14 days. By starting your free trial and using paid features, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose this right of withdrawal once you begin using the Service (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m)). This waiver is presented at signup and is part of the Terms of Service.

This does not affect your statutory rights regarding faulty digital services under the EU Digital Content Directive (2019/770).

4. Exceptions we'll consider

We may issue a refund or credit, at our discretion, if:

  • You were charged due to a clear billing error on our side (duplicate charge, charged after a successful cancellation, etc.).
  • A documented bug on our end made the Service unusable for a substantial portion of a paid period and we couldn't fix it within a reasonable time.
  • Local consumer protection law in your country requires it. We comply with mandatory law that overrides this policy.

5. How to request a refund review

If you think one of the exceptions above applies to you:

  1. Email support@getrollout.app from the email on your account.
  2. Include your account email, the invoice or charge date, and a short description of what happened.
  3. We'll reply within 7 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Stripe within 5–10 business days.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us before opening a chargeback with your card issuer. We can almost always sort billing issues out faster directly. Filing a chargeback for a charge that falls outside the exceptions above may result in your account being suspended.
