# Rollout > Rollout is a Windows desktop app that automates YouTube uploads for music producers. Drop an audio file in a watched folder — Rollout renders the video locally with FFmpeg (no watermark), schedules it on a monthly calendar, uploads it to YouTube through the producer's own OAuth-connected account, and tracks per-project analytics (views, watch time, subscribers). Audio never leaves the producer's machine. Rollout is built for music producers who upload beats, type beats, and instrumentals to YouTube daily and are tired of manually building videos and pressing upload. Plans are flat-priced: Basic $8/mo, Pro $12/mo, Premium $15/mo, all with a 14-day free trial, no per-upload fees, and no watermark on any plan. Windows 10/11 only today (macOS planned). ## Key pages - [Pricing](https://getrollout.app/pricing): The three plans compared feature-by-feature, plus billing FAQ. - [TunesToTube alternative](https://getrollout.app/tunestotube-alternative): How Rollout compares to TunesToTube and Beatloadr, including the 10-uploads-a-day YouTube quota issue. - [FAQ](https://getrollout.app/faq): YouTube connection safety (OAuth, revocable, upload-scope only), where audio is stored (locally), trials, billing, and account questions. - [Alpha program](https://getrollout.app/alpha): Pro free forever for the first 100 accounts. - [Download](https://getrollout.app/download): Get the Windows desktop app and see system requirements. ## Guides - [Blog index](https://getrollout.app/blog): All Rollout guides on YouTube upload workflows for music producers. - [How to title and tag a type beat](https://getrollout.app/blog/type-beat-title-and-tags): Title format `[Free] Artist Type Beat "Song Name"`. YouTube limits: title 100 chars (truncates ~60-70 desktop, ~45-50 mobile), description 5,000 (first ~150-157 shown in search), tags 500 chars total across all tags (~8-12 tags, each under 30 chars), hashtags ignored entirely above 15 (first 3 show above title). Tags are a supporting signal; title/description/captions carry ranking. - [The type beat upload schedule that grows a channel](https://getrollout.app/blog/type-beat-upload-schedule): Which beats to post, not how many. Weekly mix of ~50% artist-subgenre crossovers (winnable search demand), 1-2 evergreen beats in a consistent sound, 1 reactive upload when something breaks. Head-artist terms are unwinnable because catalogue channels publish 5-15/day; subgenre trends rotate every 30-60 days; a beat at 3-10x your channel median is an outlier worth repeating. - [How much do type beat channels make on YouTube](https://getrollout.app/blog/how-much-do-type-beat-channels-make): AdSense on beat channels pays roughly $0.30–$1.50 per 1,000 views (music RPMs run low because a lot of watch time is background listening). Beat leases ($20–$40) and exclusives ($150–$1,000 from a linked BeatStars/Airbit store) usually dwarf AdSense. Realistic monthly earnings at 100k views: $30–$80 (hobby, no store), $400–$600 (store-linked), $2,500–$4,000 (business channel with mailing list + exclusives). - [The best time to upload beats to YouTube](https://getrollout.app/blog/best-time-to-upload-beats-youtube): Posting-time studies (SocialPilot, 301k videos: 2–4 PM weekdays, Wed–Fri, 20–40% first-day swing) exclude music entirely. Type beats arrive via YouTube search rather than the subscriber feed, so timing shapes day one while the title shapes the next year. Use Studio → Analytics → Audience → "When your viewers are on YouTube" instead of any published guide. - [The TunesToTube watermark: how to get rid of it](https://getrollout.app/blog/tunestotube-watermark-remove): The watermark is baked into the free-tier render, not a toggle. Three removal routes: upgrade, re-render through a tool that never watermarks, or edit the MP4. - [TunesToTube alternatives: what producers actually recommend](https://getrollout.app/blog/tunestotube-alternative-reddit): Covers the free MIT-licensed renderers (Pictune, MusicGlass — render locally, no watermark, no upload step), songs-to-youtube (open-source, uploads without the YouTube Data API, 50–100/day), Audioship (web, free tier 3/mo with watermark), and Rollout. Includes when NOT to use Rollout. - [The 5 best MP3-to-YouTube uploaders](https://getrollout.app/blog/best-mp3-to-youtube-uploaders): Ranked comparison of Rollout, Audioship, Music2Tube, TunesToTube, and Tovid, with pricing and platform per tool. - [How to upload beats to YouTube consistently](https://getrollout.app/blog/how-to-upload-beats-to-youtube-consistently): The one-session-per-week batch workflow — render seven videos from one artwork template, schedule them across the week, ~90 minutes total vs ~105 spread over seven sessions. - [How many beats a week should you upload](https://getrollout.app/blog/how-many-beats-per-week-youtube): Why three to five a week sustained beats daily uploads that stop after three weeks. - [Audioship vs Rollout](https://getrollout.app/blog/audioship-vs-rollout): Web uploader vs Windows desktop app; where the render happens is the main split. - [BeatLoadr vs Rollout](https://getrollout.app/blog/beatloadr-vs-rollout): Cloud render after upload vs local render from a watched folder. - [Music2Tube vs Rollout](https://getrollout.app/blog/music2tube-vs-rollout): Multi-platform visuals (Shorts/Reels/TikTok) vs narrow YouTube publishing. - [ProducerFury vs Rollout](https://getrollout.app/blog/producerfury-vs-rollout): ProducerFury is a producer CRM, not an uploader; different jobs. - [Why I built Rollout](https://getrollout.app/blog/why-i-built-rollout): Founder story — five years of manual beat publishing, the tools tried first, and the deliberate scope limits (Windows-only, YouTube-only, no per-upload fees). - [The TunesToTube 10-uploads-a-day wall](https://getrollout.app/blog/tunestotube-10-uploads-per-day-fix): Why the cap is a YouTube API quota rather than a TunesToTube setting, and the three fixes that work. ## Machine-readable - [pricing.md](https://getrollout.app/pricing.md): Plain-text mirror of the pricing tiers.
